Lighthouse Point CPO Bar

July 2008 Policy

 

  • During the month of July, the CPOA bar will remain open from Tuesday – Friday, 1500-2130pm.  Last call will be given each evening at 2115.
  • Revised bar pricing will take effect July 1stsee attached .
  • Sodexo will serve the following food items during this month;  Hot Dogs - $1.50;  Nacho Chips with cheese - $1.50 ; with cheese and chili - $2.00.  Sodexo will supply Nacho Chips with cheese complimentary each Friday, 1600-1730. Sodexo will also provide complimentary cheese and cracker displays for Right Hand Man on the designated Wednesday of the month.
  •  Per NASP Preventitive Medicine Regulations and the NASP/Sodexo contract, no food or beverage will be allowed to be brought into the CPOA bar, under any circumstance.  ALL food and beverage must above be purchased through LHP.
  •   Use of the club by the CPOA is limited to the bar area only.  We encourage commands to use LHP for their lunch and meeting needs, please reserve any space requirements through MustinBeachOfficersClub – 452-8280.
  •  All arrangements and reservations for the Tiki Hut will be made exclusively through the CMC’s office.  During the month of July, there will be no organized events by the CPOA at the Tiki Hut or LHP after 1600 either Friday or Saturday evening, based on previously booked MBOC catering contracts.
  •  There will be a single POC for CPOA, designated by the NASP CMC, in dealing with policy and scheduling of any facet involving the CPO bar during the month of July.  All communication will be in written format by all parties, CPOA designee/MBOC GM/MWR Director, so as to better and more quickly rectify any situation that may occur.
  • Sodexo is committed to responsible alcohol service . In operations where alcoholic beverages are served, Sodexo employees must obey the liquor laws, protect the unit's or client's license, provide adequate care to our guests, and follow the alcoholic beverage service guidelines contained in this policy.  Sodexo operations will not provide alcoholic beverage  to any person under the age of 21 or any person visibly intoxicated.  The bartender has the right to refuse service to any individual.  No unauthorized persons will be allowed behind the bar.  Sodexo employees only should be serving all food & beverage.
